How these are written

What we will and won't publish

Worth stating plainly, because the category these sit in is full of the opposite.

No invented statistics. If a number appears in a guide, it either comes from our own product or it is clearly attributed. We don’t publish “87% of shoppers” figures we can’t stand behind.
No republished third-party specifications. Marketplace image requirements change without notice, so we point at the authoritative source rather than mirroring numbers that go stale.
Limits stated as plainly as capabilities. Every guide that describes what the technology does also describes where it fails. A page that only lists advantages isn’t a guide.
Written by the people who build it. Attribution is to the Vastram Studio team. We don’t invent bylines or claim credentials we don’t have.
Dated and revised. Each guide carries a visible date, and it reflects when the content was actually last reviewed.
