About

Built around how a garment is actually cut, not around a stock-photo prompt.

Vastram Studio is a web application for Indian fashion businesses that turns a photograph of cloth into catalog photography of the finished garment. This page says who makes it and what we're prepared to claim.

What is Vastram Studio?

Vastram Studio is an AI catalog photography tool for Indian fashion sellers — manufacturers, wholesalers, D2C brands, boutiques and Instagram sellers. You upload one photograph of a fabric or a garment, choose what it should be made into and who should wear it, and receive studio-quality catalog photographs — with results appearing as each one finishes rather than all at once.

It is operated from India, sold in rupees as one-time credit packs with no subscription, and priced for businesses that photograph hundreds of designs a season rather than dozens.

Why it exists

Most AI photo tools were built for a t-shirt

That assumption quietly excludes most of the Indian garment trade.

The standard approach to AI fashion photography takes a flat-lay of a finished garment and re-photographs it on a generated body. It works well for a t-shirt or a shirt — anything with a fixed, recognisable shape that the system can transfer.

It breaks on Indian fashion in two ways. First, a large part of the trade sells cloth rather than finished pieces — saree lengths, unstitched suit material, printed panels, running fabric — so there is no garment to transfer. Second, the garments themselves don’t fit the assumption: a saree is arranged rather than cut, a lehenga is three garments from one textile, and a border on an Indian fabric is a finished edge with a correct position rather than a repeating texture.

So Vastram Studio generates from construction rather than from transfer. Every garment type has its own profile — silhouette, seam layout, where the border belongs, how the motif should sit once cut, how the cloth drapes at its apparent weight, how the fit changes across sizes. That’s the whole idea, and the garment pages set out exactly how each one is handled.

How we work

Things we've decided not to do

These are constraints we've put on ourselves, and you can check every one of them against the product.

No watermarks on your output
Generated images carry no mark of ours. Any branding on an image is yours, added by you.
No subscription
Credit packs are bought once and never expire. A slow month costs you nothing, and there's no recurring charge to remember to cancel.
You own the output
Generated images are licensed for unrestricted commercial use and we retain no ownership claim over them. The full statement is in the terms.
You're charged for what you receive
Failed images in a batch are refunded automatically, and a cancelled job refunds the shortfall.
Generated figures are labelled as such
Every model in every example on this site is AI-generated, and we say so wherever we show one. We never present a generated figure as a photograph of a real person.
No invented social proof
There are no testimonials, logos, case studies, review counts or customer numbers anywhere on this site, because we're not in a position to publish any that are real.

On AI-generated imagery

Every model figure produced by Vastram Studio is generated. They are not photographs of real people, they are not based on a specific individual, and they should never be captioned as either. If you publish generated imagery, check the current disclosure rules of the platform you’re publishing on — they differ and they’re changing.
